Hi today I purchased a Bradley GT11 and previous owner had gull wing doors taped closed because he said the bolts just need to be loosened & adjusted. I had the car towed to VW dealership & he said the car is not road worthy & not driveable he said the fiberglass body warps because it's old & the doors will never close etc. The rubbermolding is off the doors think it was painted before. So does a frame warp so that the doors will never close? Or can the doors be adjusted?

Search "butt sag" And never take a VW based kit to a dealer....ever Wow, isn't that the truth. I took a Bradley GT in for new brake lines and they wanted almost the value of the car to do it. I bit the bullet, and bought a flaring tool and did myself for less than $50.

That's amazing. I took mine to the dealership for the brakes too, and they told me they couldn't work on anything that old because there are no shop manuals for my base car as a 68 beetle.
Best bet would be to find a local VW vendor (dunebuggys, 4x4s, ext) and see if they can help you find someone who works on things like our car... You might get lucky and find a local club or fellow owners. ~where are you located?

HINT: you can get all the metal brake lines for about $19.00, Hoses about $15.00 Anything for a complete brake job about $250.00
