Last year I bought a Bradley GT from a guy I knew in Texas. He told me it wasn't one of them "kit cars" somebody built, it was actually built by Bradley Automotive. It did not have the doors and needed a motor, but otherwise it is in excellent shape. Someone later told me they were ALL kit cars and were never manufactured so I went to the Bradley website and saw it stated that " these vehicles could be bought in various stages of completion". I'm now confused. My title says Bradley GT on it. What makes me even more confused is that I purchased another Bradley, a GT 2 which I was told was a kit car, for the motor and doors I needed. There is NO vin tag in the dash as there is with my first one and the title for this last one I bought says on the title: Volkswagen. No where does it mention Bradley nor Kit Car. Here is a pic of my "original Bradley" and it's vin tag from the center of the dash. Any info to help me clarify this first one from Texas would be appreciated. Thanks. This is the picture when we brought it back from Texas. Thanks again for any info.

I am far from being an expert I am sure that I heard Bradley Automotive build a number of turn key kits. I would guess the Liberace's was one of them.

Its not even worth trying to figure out. In the end it adds no value to the car. If they did build it that amounts to nothing . Enjoy !

When the original build is completed, it has to be safety inspected by the police dept, and at this time THEY install your Vin tag where you specify where you want it to go. As far as how it is titled, that would depend on how the same officer completed the paperwork. For Insurance reasons, Volkswagen would be the preferred documentation vs assembled, or some rare model (being Bradley GT) they may not be able to find enough information on. Either way about it, I hope you enjoy it.
Do you have it licensed as a historic vehicle or as a normal car? As historic, its a one time payment for 10 years, just have to limit it to driving to shows, cruises, service shops, parts stores, and gas stations... So I make a point to either get some random thing at Autozone or to get gas every time I drive it, even if its only a gallon. As long as you have a receipt dated for that day you are covered if pulled over for driving a historic car.
