Hey all, as all you long timers know, I rarely get on here anymore. For you newer members, I'm the one that created this site 15 years ago now. I used to be very involved, but life has changed and I no longer have my Bradley's anymore. Can you all believe it's been 15 years already!!
www.BradleyGT.com is finally back, and will bring you right to the board!! While I've had the name all along, ProBoards stopped recognizing it. You pay for that ability yearly, and ProBoards had a glitch that kept it working for years after the payment expired. Without getting on here often, I didn't notice until earlier this year it wasn't working anymore. Then I just kept forgetting to pay for it.
Since the available options on the board have changed since the last time I poked around them, I made a couple changes. Other than the color scheme, most wouldn't be noticed by the members.
I did disable the ability to upload pictures directly to the board itself. You can still link to pics on sites like photo bucket, but images can not be stored on the forum. You have to pay for extra storage, and the free storage was nearly full. With only 2MB left for space, I'm guessing people have not been able to upload them to the board for sometime anyway.
I was able to allow members to add events to the calendar now. Not sure if anyone might use this feature, but it would be great to post any shows you might be traveling to. When I was involved, we got many shows well attended all over the country. Whether is was a couple members getting together at something local to them, or 20 Brad's at Carlisle. This was noticed by some magazines and written about a handful of times.
With me being involved so little now, having some of the regulars taking up the charge on shows would be awesome. Carlisle took some work, but it was a great 5 year run before it started slowing down. And who can forget the GTII build?! While I'm not involved as I was, the Bradley's, and this group, still hold a very special place in my heart. As many of you have found out, having these type of forums are invaluable. Especially for such a small community at the Bradley's. Someone on here already has the answer to the questions you have, and it's always better to learn from someone else's mistakes instead of your own
