Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and the bradley gt2 so here goes, I just bought me a nice bradley gt2 with a few issues 2 days ago see pics of car below for $650.00, and I've been having trouble getting the doors to align up and shut right, previous owner took doors off and painted car 3 years ago then semi put them back on, now I've got them bolted back in with steel plates behind them inside car like they should be with hinges but I can't seem to get the doors to shut right without having to manually force the door down to latch and then it leaves the top front of door bowed upward in middle makeing gap, any suggestions or instructions on a easy way to fix/adjust these?, the second issue is I need dash guages cluster wiring diagram in center dash since all the wires on the switches and guages has been disconnected but all wires look good to hook them back up to get everything working again. Thanks. Attachments:

Welcome to the family Hellraisergt2, always nice to see someone new to our addiction, uhh I mean distraction from reality... Looking forward to seeing more posts from you, and if you have any questions at all, there is an abundant amount of knowledge from others who have tried, failed, and conquered various ideas and issues, along with a lot of information in the archives in the SEARCH area.
Now have a nice day! ~Bob cocacoladodge

Ok, thanks for welcome cocacoladodge, and as a matter of fact I do have a question my gt2 didn't come with a engine so I was wondering if a vw1800 bug motor will fit in my engine bay on my gt2, I have a friend who has a 1800 all new rebuilt he offered to sell to me for $300.00? Thanks

Alright I found the problem it has butt sag problem, ill fix it soon. You might want to do a search on this website, as there are several postings regarding how to fix the "butt sag" problem on GT II. As with most Bradley issues, there is more than one way to skin your knuckles

An "1800" is not a usually combination for a Type 1 motor. Maybe a Type 2? There might be different fan/charging/cooling configurations that might come into play if you are dealing with a non-type 1 motor.

My advice.....find yourself a good dual port, dual relief Type 1 motor and slap it in.
Get the car running and driving. Mods are always alot easier once you have made it that far.
