My son and I took this from project to the street. Ran it for one summer and we now have lost interest and time and he will be off to the Army after he graduates next spring. This is complete/nearly complete and needs just a little TLC to be back on the road. We were in the process of changing over the electrical/ignition and carbs. It has pertronix (if I am remembering corrrectly) a new alternator and we were about to buy a new carb (so it needs a carb).
The good.......
Newer rebuild with maybe 250 miles
New alternator
original seats with NOS seat covers (barn find purchase)
original rims with new tires
windshield installed with windshield still in shipping crate = 2 windshields
original gauges
headlights operate
original gas tank with a Porsche electric fuel pump - not installed
titled as a Bradley GT2
original manufacturer tag
original bradley nose badge
boxes of extra Bradley parts and VW parts including some extra side glass
original hatch glass
The bad......
We tried to paint it and did an ok job but it needs to be repainted. Has a scrape through the paint (not into the glass) on the back end near the engine cover.
Home fabricated back window needs to be removed and the correct glass needs to be installed. I have the glass.
Needs a carb and some tuning
Great project that is nearly complete and was on the road and inspected.
Not sure how to price this one because I know I will not get back what I have into it so bring me an offer. I will not part out so please do not bother asking. I would prefer you email me directly at buck@ithaca.edu although I will check the forum thread occasionally.
