Went to the show and it was filled with factory-new looking old bugs nice but (yawn) was hoping for some kits or rat rods or something with a wow factor. Outside of a '68 with a rabbit engine stuffed in it, for my money this was the star of the show: Honda Goldwing rear (driveshaft still to be fabbed) I'd sure love to go tootin' down the road in this!

No sorry I did not, but there was not much room left in the engine compartment
there was a lot of welded aluminum tanks and brackets
it wasn't pretty and it ran like crap
but that may have been due to some other issue with it.
The owner seemed to be known to the other guys showing their cars there
so my hunch would be he's in the Connecticut club. If you want to play Dik Tracy
you could get in touch with the admin for the club and ask If he knows the guy.
It was a red bug, maybe they can put you in touch with him?
