What is the small lever next to the e-brake?

It's to open the heater boxes on the engine to keep you warm during the winter. You only need the one on the left (pass. side).

It blows slightly warm air at your feet. It will take the edge off.

If you still have the heater boxes, and the heater flaps and hoses going into the cabin are in good shape (literally, a $10 part), then the heater can blast you right out of the cabin. My '58 is that way. But I don't know many people who hook 'em up in Bradley. .

Mine are hooked up. I need them for the defrost and heat when it's cold.
