I have a 1999 VW jetta tdi and a Bradley without a motor, I'm wondering if its possible to swap in the tdi engine without too much trouble. I know the tdi engine isn't air-cooled, but it's just a thought.

Lots of work to make a cooling system and all the injection needed for the TDI.
Plus I am not sure as to the overall length and would it stick out the back.
It would also make it handle pretty poorly as well.
But anything is possible.....with enough money and/or skill

You could mount the rad in the back. You also need to rip the wiring harness aprt to get the computer out of it.

Yes, it could work. NO! it would not be easy.
You would do better to keep the transverse mounting if you tried it.
