I had some one send me these pics. It kind of looks like a really modified GTII. I hope the upload thing works here. Eric

Love that split windshield, no problem replacing that if you crack a piece of glass.
Sort of has that classic look similar to my long departed '54 Porsche.

Any body have an idea as to the production numbers of these? This one is without a rear engine and drive wheels ( I assume it was VW based) Pretty neat piece of Kit Car history I wonder if it worth rebuilding, restoring or just yard art? Jim

My bet is that there were very few made. I would guess (and only a guess) less than 100.
But that doesn't make it valuable. After all...its a VW based kit car. While there are some exceptions they usually all go for between $5-$6k if done real well.
Again...there are exceptions but I have restored a few and when built well, with the VW drivetrain in them, thats what you are looking at.

Yeah from what I have always heard less then 100. I see these 2-3 times a year pop up and if one appeared closer to me I would most likely buy it . Just something about them I like

What ever happened to this one? Did it ever get sold or is the chassis still rotting away from the body outside?

I believe that she is still out there. It really needs some love. I haven't spoke to the owner for a while. Should I? JIm

Sure it is worth saving if you have the time and money to do so. Talk to the owner and see if he is willing to part with it. If you do not want it, I might depending on the price and location . Thanks I believe that she is still out there. It really needs some love. I haven't spoke to the owner for a while. Should I? JIm
