I have been checking out your site for some time now, and is my third attempt to buy a Bradley GT, and I have finally suceeded in obtaining one, I found this one on san diego craigslist,and I had to pay a lil extra (yeah mexican corruption)to cross the car to my side of the border(TIJUANA) with only bill of sale lol,and is in this condition,the price was 300 dlls,plus 500 between towing and the extra money for the mexican customs ,i have a mexican vw bettle from 1983 with ok pan and papers and the engine im planning to drop in is a 2.3 ford turbo engine with adapter from Kennedy Engineered Products(KEP) here are some pics: In the back is my mexican bug, im selling the shell and keeping the pan cuz its registered here in Mexico so I can put on my Bradley body. Can´t wait to get to work on it!

Welcome Victorhugo, and good luck with your GT, the last picture is a really nice statement as a "before" example, keep us the posted as you move along to the finished project. You already climbed half the mountain getting that car from the US into Mexico, it looks like you've got all the right stuff! horen2tas and Big-birds-ride thanks I work today in try to remove the body from the rusty pan lol,and i was cutting with a grinder the bolts and i found this and i dont finish i hope tomorrow i am done cutting the pan and send to scrap that rusted pan,and put for sale the front suspension and rear with tranny and recovery some cash,because i owe like 700 dlls in back fees in the mexican bug p.s horen2tas if you wanna check the place where i buy the Bradley,some cars are for sale in that shop the address is 3970 H I C O C K st,point loma ,San diego,the name of the shop rustys bug

Looks like the original builder of your Bradley took the time to attach the body number tag for the kit. More often than not, those are never installed and/or lost over the years that the body sat around without being put together. Pretty cool that you have it. My Bradley does not have its tag attached.

My dad, Edvin Ruthvin Beeman was the company photog for company until his death from heart transplant failure UofM hosp. #2 hrt transplant Minn., He took most of the commercial shots you see. Includg one set-up at IDS Bldg construction lots, while being built, helicopter literally blew one of the gullwing doors of GT I, later next year more robust GT II doors came about. I remember seeing door fly high into the sky. Met many of the sexy models at his studio off Lake St. Mpls, and at the "factory"/ shot locations. Always nice to be a cute 11 y.o. and having big boobs bounce of your head as they "Master Danny" & shake my hand. Lots of nice forest and nature scene shots, and then some when he went with them on the "gumball rally" in 1975. Also remember owners wife & my mom being "models" for the small yet fast boat on Lake Minnetonka, and up in ?Hibbing? on lakes near Paul Bunyan & Baby Blue Ox statues!! Even with Mysthenia Gravis, my mom made that boat sing!! I live here in San Diego, CA north of you! Cool story beemanphotogson Let share some storys from Bradleys,this is my third i try to buy,the first i saw in the street of here(TIJUANA)i and i say WTF lol,now thinking maybe is the same i have now,how ending in AMERICA i have no idea(because look like a a lot black primer and i think the person was driving withouth windshield)!!because is a not a lot of this cars,anyways the first i contact the person to talk about ther car was special construction title and want 2k out of budget,the second maybe was the first lol was the same color,but i think maybe the change the chassis and put other bug pan the guy want 300 dlls because was not running and no papers only bill of sale(yeah that was in my budget lol )when i have the money the car was gone,and latter was again for sale in CRAIGSLIST TJ in working condition for 800 dlls,and for extra money i sell diffs on CL and i buy that from the junkyard,and i was walking and i see a really bright yellow kit car,now i know was a Bradley GT II ,they destroy the poor car ,sometimes i see in that J/Y 30`s trucks,cadillac deville 61,50`s sometimes CHEVYS ,and i think with my Bradley is the for sure the 2nd or 3third in the TIJUANA. So finally yesterday night i remove the Bradley body from the VW pan,i cut the bolts some are really rusted this one i can´t cut from the bottom and i say i dont wanna do this lets cut this part of the fiber glass ,thanks i cut some part of the bottom nut the bolt brok and i dont damage more than that the body my bucket with water for just in case of fire lol(DONT DO THIS AT HOME LOL)i can believe the cutting disc from Harbor freight was better that the crap i buy here lol,imagine only the quality lol that was the color in the good old days after like 8/9 cutting disc and some beers that was left lol and the more important the body in my mom garage,we move with the help of 4 !!! p.s hey the light of my bradley are different i post the pic later,is like the system from the mazda miata,that was like that from the kit or the owner modify?

I think that the mazda type stuff is add-on, as mazda's aren't as old as your Bradley GT , yours is quite an old model, dad & I used to go around in this type a lot when I was younger, I only saw the GT II a few times, as my dad passed right after that design style came out. I'd like to see ur Bradley GT some day, but don't have a passport yet, It finally seems to be getting safe on your side of the border. So I'll investigate getting a new passport or pass to get across some time this year. daniel_beeman@yahoo.com

This is the type of light i am talking about i found other car online with this type of light!! i dont know what common are!! here is the other i can find with that type of light is the purple one priceofhistoys.com/category/bradley-gt/page/3/beemanphotogson and you dont need a passport to get back to america ,i know very well my 3 kids are USA citizen and my wife,she cross the border everyday to work in San Diego and we live here,and my 2 little ones,2 years and 1/2 and 9 months dont have passport only birth certificate and cross the border!! with the adult only need your birth certificate and Id and a bil from water or light and your again in back AMERICA!!

SO FINALLY MY VW BUG HAVE A CURRENT PLATES AND IS IN MY NAME ,BUT WAS A PAIN IN THE ss,I HAVE THE TITLE,REGISTRATION AND THE CAR,COPY OF THE LICENSE OF THE LAST OWNER,AND THE DMV(KINDA HERE IN MEX)DONT WANNA PUT IN MY NAME BECAUSE THE LAST OWNER DIE LIKE 6-7 YEARS AGO,I GO TO ONE OFFICES AND TOLD ME I NEED TO DO A TRIAL TO CLAIM THE PROPERTY OF THE BUG AND TAKE LIKE 2 MONTS AND 300 BUCKS,IN OTHER OFFICE TOLD ME I NEED TO TAKE TO THE POLICE TO CHECK IS NOT STOLEN AND PRE-CHECK THERE WITH THE REGISTRATION AND WAS CLEAN OF COURSE ,SO I HIRE A GUY TO AVOID ALL THE HASSLE AND IN LIKE 2 DAYS,HE GAVE ME MY NEW PLATES AND REGISTRATION IN MY NAME I READ ABOUT THE TREX FOR USING LIKE A BODY LIFT,IS ESPECIAL TYPE? WAS IS THE COMMON MEASUREMENT? www.chadsbradley.co.nrIt is standard 2x4 size so 1 1/2 x 3 1/2. Home depot does have it. On my site you can see how I set up the text and cut out the pan. I needed 6 inches for me. I'm 6 foot 5 inches and 300 pounds so I need some space!

FINALLY I BUY THE TORQ THRUST RIMS AND I ONLY PAY 200 BUCKS WITH 2 TIRES,AND I THINK I CAN SELL THE TIRES FOR 20-30 BUCKS!! LITTLE BIT OF CLEANING WITH STEEL WOOL,BUT NEED TO BE CLEANING WITH POLISH OR GREEN STONE I THINK !! P.S ANYBODY KNOW IF THAT RIM IS AMERICAN RACING? BECAUSE I HAVE A DOUBT,ONE HAVE A CENTER CAP AND SAY EAGLE ALLOY,THAT BRAND MAKE COPYS OF DIFFERENT WHEELS FOR WHAT I FOUND ONLINE,AND SAY THE QUALITY IS OK,BUT SUPPOST TO BE THEY DONT MAKE TORQ THURST IN 16 INCHS WHEELS,AND THIS RIMS ARE 16 INCHS!!

I DONT NOTHING IN MY BRADLEY LOL,ONLY BUY MORE PARTS,I BUY A FRONT BEAM FROM A 96 OR 2000 MEXICAN BEETLE WITH DISC BRAKES AND THIS WHAT A LOOK NOT BAD FOR 120 BUCK ALL THE FRONT BEAM AND I HAVE THE BEAM WITHOUT BRAKES FOR SALE ON 100 BUCKS!!
