Sounds like another pot load of money needs to be spent, so it must be a Bradley for sure. You might not know it, but VW based kit cars, and Bradley’s in particular, are not collectable vehicles. They cost way more to get running and keep on the road than they are ever going to be worth. Owners like me get their joy out of the building process, which seems to never end. An original GTE is so outdated as to electrical controller, charging systems, motor efficiency and such that it usually costs in the neighborhood of $5,000 just to upgrade the electrical system components and buy enough batteries to make it go. Great performance can be had with a 120 volt setup especially when installing it in a fiberglass kit car like Bradley GT. 120 volts also lets it charge with a normal 110 volt outlet without adding any extra cost. The cost for a complete kit is $4,645.00 + shipping. 120 volt kit will require 20 six volt batteries or 15 eight volt batteries or 10 twelve volt batteries. With that said, please post some photographs of the vehicle so we can drool and they will be needed to garner interest.

big-birds, could you clarify what components are in this "kit"? ideally, I'd like to find someone to walk me through an upgraded battery/charge system. there's an upgrade for the Razor Scooters that uses Lithium-Ion batteries, so hopefully this is an option for performance and distance (it's much more expensive, surely, but lighter, more powerful, and faster charge.) are there people on here that might help me through this if I buy one (a GTE, that is)? sounds like it could be a lot of fun. cheers, douglas
