Yup...Very typical. You will likely need to shorten your filler neck, find some fuel hose (Marine shops, NAPA) with some 90 degree elbows, and some steel or copper pipe for the straight sections. Thats the easiest way for a non-fabricator. Then stand back and fill slowly.
The other way would be to relocate the neck on the tank and the actual filler.
Its one of the worst designs on the Bradley.

Thank you.Wish I had looked a little closer at the time installation I could have adjusted the fuel tanks neck some..I`m going to try making an aluminum spacer to lift the filler neck up a bit and shorten the filler neck an inch..I have a couple proper fuel hoses with 90 degree bents that might work. definitely be slow filling

Mine is connected with simply a flexible fuel hose I got from the local "hose shop" (we really have one, a guy that carries about any type/size of hose you want.) Slow filling is definately an issue. I have to have the gas flow as low as I can hold it open when filling, takes a while. I also use a funnel when filling the tank to prevent overflows from splashing out onto the car, I can see it happening with the funnel and cut off the gas supply before it overflows while filling the tank.

I carry a tapered shaft and wedge it in the gas nozzle handle so I can adjust the flow to as slow as I need. This saves on the cramping of the hands. :-)

The clear braided pvc hose found at most hardware/building supply stores is gasoline compatible.

I was thinking about using this breaded hose for my fuel line to my electric fuel pump to my carbs from the canister fuel filter that I have but was not sure about it being eaten by the gas.
