I've decided to take a different direction with my car. I've driven the little beast daily for 14 months and about 14k miles and a few things have become apparent to me: 1. It needs more headroom. I built it with a 3" floor drop. I will rebuild it with a 2-3" body lift. 2. Its noisy. I like a quiet car so I can hear the radio at less than 90 db. My car's next reincarnation will be electric. 3. I'm lazy and tired of changing gears. Again electric drive is the cure. I've recently aquired a 68 Karman Ghia needing an engine and a little TLC so I think I'll stick the 1600 from the Bradley and sell it to finance the changeover. I guess I won't need the Dakota Digital gauges anymore either. All I'm shooting for initally is 40-50 mile range between charges. I haven't decided what system yet. I might build the controller myself. I'm also considering making a radical change to the rear of the body. I'm also considering selling the car engineless and buying a GT2 to electrify.
