I'm looking for a Porsche 917 kit. Either done or any stage of completion. Any help finding one would be very greatfull. I've been on the samba and am talking to a guy for one now. But someone is coming to look at buying it in a few days. So thanks in advance guys!

The 917 kits look pretty tight on the interior. Make sure you sit in one before buying it. If you cant fit in it, pretty hard to enjoy driving it.

I've kinda noticed that. And the ones that have two seats seem even worse.

Thanks for the find! But sadly I've seen this car on the web for a long time and for some reason they think its worth 26,000 dollars. Why I don't know. I see these go for 5 or 6k at most unless you get a real racer for 3 million. Lol

Thanks for the find. That's a little to far gone for me. Looking to spend around 2 to 3k if its in good shape. I'm still waiting to get back with this one guy. He wants 2.5k for the body and another 2k for odd and ends he has. But it has no frame. I'm kinda scared on what a custom frame would cost me on top of the 4,500 for everything els.

I had a vehicle transported from Florida to Califorina for under $1,000. Don't give up on a good deal that is far away, especially if local vehicle is too pricey.
