Hey everyone, I broke down a few weeks ago and picked up a 3d printer. I wanted to share my first attempt at making a Bradley Emblem. Quality is ok but it did take about 45 minutes to make.

I have a solidoodle 2 as well as a filastruder to make my own abs filament on the fly. No need to buy a bunch of rolls. I had a friend create the cad file for me. I will also be picking up a 3d scanner shortly

Here are a few others I made. These are all on low print resolutions to speed up the process a bit

those are epic, about what doses one of those cost to make? Forget about what they cost to make... what will it cost us to buy one? That would look really nice on the front, rear and/or roof posts on a Bradley.

Not to try and Shanghai this thread but our mad scientist Skip20 has got this in the bag, from a previous post of his: and his Quote: Here is the Bradley GTII hood badge, is hard to find. I have started to cast them in Resin, painted or unpainted. They will be $12.50 including 1st class mailing. PM me or e-mail skip20@tds.net, to order or get my phone #. I needed # for the 3 GTII I have, I like the Black or the Silver myself. I will be casting the trunk lettering soon. You can find skip by searching this board

Not to stop horen2tas repost of Skips earlier posting, but I have done business with kitcarguy in the past on one of the other projects he undertook as a service he offered to us. Bradley vinyls... He did a mind-blowing job and got me exactly what I wanted. Kitcarguy, if you do decide to make these for the members, drop me a pm and I will have an order for you. Skip, those look great, but you have your hands full as it is with the 2 B-GT2s and the Trikes you are doing (looking incredible ! :-) ), among the other projects. Kitcarguy does awesome work and great comunication from first contact until you hold the end result in your hands. you will not be disappointed. My back window before the vinyl my back window with the vinyl - please note my name is Bob... I couldn't get all the fine detail in a picture with the sunlight, this was the best I could get with an old cell phone.

FYI Bob,
Having visited with Skip on my way down to Fla. and having been given the tour of his many workshops and projects,
what you see on this board is only the very tip of the "iceberg".
This guy gets more done in an hour than most accomplish in a week.
His hands aren't even a little bit full!
I wouldn't hesitate to contact him for anything that you may need built or fabricated.
The guy is a dynamo!

That is no surprise, Skip obviously has incredible skills, both with his mind, tools and skills, to look at something and seek several ways to create life out of what may even be thrown away by others. You are truly a gifted and knowledgable person Skip. And to think all I have seen is the tip of the Iceberg of your skills.

horen2tas, your making me blush! Today I only worked on the inkjet T-Shirt printer framing, The 3D Printer build & the 2 doors & it's already 3PM, but it was 22 degrees outside earlier.

22 degrees?
With a decent pair of long johns and a snow mobile suit you should be good to go!
Check out my Off Topic post from the weatherman in North Dakota!
