...what problem areas should I look for? It has a windshield, roll "bar" and bumpers but not much else. Guy says there are matching vertical 6" cracks in the top center of both rear wheel arches. He bought it as an old project and kept the pan/chassis for himself. $200 too much?

GT1, no interior, no side or rear glass, no rear engine panel.

Its pretty much a shell so $200 ain't bad. Fiberglass repair is easy.
I guess you should not wonder if $200 is too much but rather do you have the $5000 to invest in it?

Well, I bought it. It has a cracked windshield so I talked him down some on the price. $150. Has a bit of rear sag but I'm pleased overall. Nothing I can't fix.
So now I need to find a chassis or start drawing up plans for my own. This car will be electric; the Bradley body seems so much more aerodynamic than the original vw bug body.
