Has any one built a GT II on anything other than a V Dubb frame? I'm looking to mount mine to a Fiero V6 supercharged 4spd. As far as I can tell the difference is 1" in wheel base length and width for the Fiero. I think would fill out the void in the wheel wells any way. Has this been done? For that matter can it be done?

Anything can be done...with the right amount of money and skills. Is it easy? No..for alot of reasons. Redesigning the cooling, cutting the Fiero space frame, modifying the Bradley body, etc etc
Lots of fabricating, lots of welding, and lots of fiberglass work. Are you very proficient in all those areas? or can you pay someone to do that? Skip is awesome at fabricating and he has been working on his creations for a while now and they aren't even close to being ready yet. Are you ready for a multi-year project?

There was a guy in Tenn. that did it. It fit pretty good as far as I could see in the beginning. Wheel base & withe is close. Doors line up good also i think.

That's because I keep starting something else. You can get bored with it after a wild.

Oh I understand Skip. Anytime you have a project to the scope of yours things always get in the way. Projects around the house, vacations, yard work...the list goes on and on.
In big projects that a Fiero rebody you are going to be challenged with losing focus and getting bored cause you won't see progress. On my Avenger (a stock VW build...and not my first) I had days where I hated going out there because I would work 5 hours on getting a door to close right and it seemed like I spent an entire night just accomplishing that one goal.
I much prefer these little VW based dunebuggies. I can go out in a night and get most of the wiring done and feel like I accomplished something.

I personally think it would be way more trouble then it was worth. Maybe I am wrong though
