When painting is it worth it to take the body off? None of the glass is installed yet. So I don't have to worry about cracking the glass or getting paint on it.

Are you just painting or are you re-wiring as well?
For just painting I would see how easy it is for you to get into the body to paint inside versushaving the body on a support and standing inside of it.
If you are re-wiring I would definitely take the body off. Your back will thank you.

it is a major pain in the butt any way you try to paint it. i recommend when spraying to do roof (if its on) inside.(spray the far side) hood/trunk, tail fin, and then get the sides and the under lip. the hard spot to get is the scoop in the hood, its hard to reach over and get square on it.
