So happy to find people who are working on the same thing as me! I Just bought a Bradley GT a few weeks back. It's on a 1967 VW Chassis. I bought an amazing CD by Jeff Troy on tips and history of Bradley. I took the logo sent and reformatted it for 3d printing. I had to trace the lines out and create a 3d design. The print came out pretty awesome!!! I want to mount this on my dashboard. I have the .obj files if anyone is interested in making a print for themselves. Attachments:

I like the emblem Will Pronterface convert obj files to Gcode ? That's what I'm currently using with my Prusa mendels .

Thank You! The Prusa Mendel looks awesome. I think you would have to use Slic3r first? I have it in .Obj and .Stl I used Inkscape and Tinkercad to get it to print. It's still not perfect, but I'm digging it so far.

Pronterface uses a version of skeinforge to do the conversion from sti to G-code . I've haven't used it with obj files yet . I like the Prusa it's a lower parts count than the traditional mendel . There is a printrbot around the house somewhere too but I haven't picked up the electronics for it . I'm glad you took the time to make up the Bradley emblem it should be great print.

Hi, Mario,
Thank you for the kind word about the CD. Glad to know that it's helping you. Also, thanks for the 3D file, which I hope add to the CDs asap.
Warmest regards,

I would be interested in the code you made. Also since I have found some people with 3D printing machines, I would like to take this time to ask what you guys think of the "3D Stuff Maker Creator"? I'm going to be ordering my first 3D printer and wanted to get a smaller one that is easy on the pocketbook but would be good for making custom hood emblems and maybe some small toys.

Jeff i LOVE the cd. Its made my life simple fastcorgigarage I can send the files through email if you want. also this 3d printer guide magazine helps a ton www.makershed.com/Make_Ultimate_Guide_to_3D_Printing_p/1449357377.htmI looked up the "3d stuff maker creator" and it looks nice. The quality of the prints are not the greatest from the pics I saw. I know that Make magazine put out a specific guide for price and quality of the 15 most successful printers out right now. I know that Printrbot and Solidoodle have similar prices and they might be better. Tinkercad is the program I used to make the Bradley logo. The program is online and its free. You should sign up and start making things. It will give you a good feel of design for printing.

A few things that affect print quality are , Poor calibration , cheap filament and incorrect temp settings . I have a printrbot without electronics or hot end if someone feels up to doing their own electronics.
Since the printrbot was printed using my Prusa I don't have a large investment in it .
