Any and all the wiring harnesses should work, as for a front engine cars, with the VW some of the wires will be short to the engine. I used the EZ Wiring 21 on my Brad. It is all based on your knowledge of how all the function of the wiring and equipment works and your ability to work around problems. Do you understand how to wire the Hazard sw to the lights and turn signal sw together, how the turn signal sw works and determine which connection from the sw goes to which wire, Why does the GT-2 use a converter for the lights? How to wire the wipers from the sw, With the VW there are 3 or more different windshield wiper systems and each one is wired differently. Don't use the wiring diagram from the brad, there are functional errors in the wiring and its a rats nest. That my opinion!
With what I've said here overwhelms you, your better off to get someone to wire the car for you. Many of the members here have wired there own cars with no or very little problems.
So if you do your own wiring thats great and good luck. We are all here to help you. Wyn

I used a very similiar system to wire a GT so yes it will work. A basic 8 circuit is enough, but that will depend on what you are going to add to the GT2. In addition to this harness you will also need additional wires for things like the alternator lamp wire, sensor wires from the engine, and others. You will also need a method for grounding everything and all the ground wires. Rebel has a kit for dunebuggies that takes into consideration a VW engine layout and needs. You might want to try them. rebelwire.com/rebel-wire-products.php?cat=Wire%20KitsWith any kit you will need to customize it to some degree, and like I said, develop a ground system. Things like the trailer adapter for the rear are also Bradley GT2 specific. Hazard wiring will depend on your switches

The three items to the left are relays that I used for the headlights, wiper park, and flashers. They were needed because of the type of switches the owner wanted to use.
The items to the right of the fuse block are terminal strips. The very far right is for all my grounds. I run them back from the device to the strip instead of pulling them from a chassis location. For me its alot easier to chase ground issues (very common on glass bodied cars). The terminal strips closer to the fuse panel are to distribute power to the lights, parking lights, and blinkers. Again, this was due to the switches the owner wanted as well as the turn signal set up I used.
Not all wiring jobs will need them.
I have always used the diagrams that come with the kits. Its a good starting point. When you start to do the wiring you need to lay it out then complete 1 circuit at a time. The basic premise is: Power into the switch Power out of the switch to the device Ground to the device.

that's going to suck when you accidentally flip the power switch while driving down the road.
