hey guys,
my rear turn signals are not working, no clicking from the can either, however, my front lights are presently not installed. Would the front not being connected stop the rear from working?
Also in need of a headlight switch and a hazard light switch.
By the way the hazard light switch is apart and missing items, would this effect the turn signals.
Thanks & thanks for all the past help.

Lots of things to check: 1. Any power to the flasher? 2. rear lights well grounded? 3. Depending on the flasher (ie: heavy duty) it might require the load of all 4 lights before it can work. 4. I don't have the diagram, and the car might not be wired that way anyways, but yes...the lack of hazards could possibly effect the blinkers 5. Burnt out bulbs?

Hey, I recently fixed my blinkers (according to the original GTII schematics) and here is what I learned.
1) The blinkers get their positive 12v source through the hazard switch. So when the hazard switch is turned on, there is no voltage supplied to the blinkers, but when the hazard switch is turned off, the switch makes a connection from the positive 12v source to the blinkers.
2) The blinker relay is grounded through the front turn signal lights. So if either of the two front turn signals are not properly grounded, the relay will not turn on and off (for the corresponding direction) and you will not hear the clicking. You need to make sure both left and right front lights are grounded well. If either sides front light is not grounded well, the corresponding direction turn signal will not work.
3) My rear lights were not blinking with the front lights, it turns out my "conversion box" (called this is the GTII schematics) was not working. This can be replaced with any regular tail light conversion box meant for trailers with just two red tail lights; can pick one up at autozone.
Hope this helps
