Well I did one of the dummest things ever today, I let my gullwing drive my car.
-
I took it to work lastnight (first time to this job), and as you can guess I had a crowd waiting for me when I got out. Well I started it up, left it in nutral with ebrake on, pulled the drivers gull off, and while trying to fit it behind the seat the gull pushed the shifter into 1st. Luckly, the guy standing in front of it jumped out of the way. it stopped after only 4 feet, nose under a van- NO damage to the Bradley or the van.
-
After 3 of us pulled/pushed the Brad(yes its off now AND I Nutural) out from under the van, I just put the wing in the pass seat. By now all the supervisors were watching too, but did that stop my stupidness... Nope, I thought I had to lay down some strips on my way out.
-
I am going to ask how many write ups, I have when I get in tonight and double check the condition of the van with the owner tomarrow.
-
Has anyone else had something like this happen?

Just recalled how I was able to put the jull behind the seat last year, I had the seat taken out then.

Hi Bob, Just recalled how I was able to put the jull behind the seat last year, I had the seat taken out then. If you hinge the rear window like I did, you can get all kinds of things into the rear luggage area. This picture was taken last year at the Mid America Funfest. I was able to put two folding chairs, two small suitcases, a laptop, and both gull wings in the back with room for my wife's purse and some snacks as well! Easy to access and utilize the space this way. I'm not going to answer that one. I plead the 5th! Gary Hammond,

Thanks for the tip, but I have the long back window. I did think about doing that at one time, but I can't find any hinges locally that would handel it, besides big oversized ones for gate doors / barn doors.
-
Well, its time to go listen to the music and find out if I have any writeups or if I still have a job.

How were you able to engage 1/st with the engine running AND no clutch, This is very difficult to accomplish without grinding all the teeth off 1.st gear.

I wish I knew. it might have bumped just enough to catch part way and not be fully engaged??? the whole ting still doesn't make sence to me.
-
