Hi My name is matt I live in maine and i'm a vw-aholic. Ive been playing with air cooled vw's for 10 years now had 6 beetles and 3 dune buggies over that period but this is my first kit kar.
found this sitting beside the road on one of my road trips and decided against the girlfriends wishes to buy it. ended up buying a vw beetle convertible with it. a 1600 dual port motor and another old tunnel and transaxle he had.
the pans are in mint shape all the brakes lines and drums have been changed all new front end parts. the interior is trashed and mostly gone guy drove it this past fall and blew the motor.
