I'm in the process of making a rotisserie for the frame. I am going to then strip, clean, and prep frame. I have put new pans on already. My question is, when does seam sealer go on? I have heard both, before primer and after primer.

Not sure, I would think before primer so you have bear metal. But the factory has it after primer & sometimes after paint. What does the tube say. Ain't talking huh!

I haven't bought any yet. I was hoping someone would chime in on a good one to use. Hopefully not a talking one. But, I'm with you (Skip20), I have seen it done different ways.

I got some at an Auto paint store, about $14.00 a tube. Freind used some on his VW & said it smalls really bad.
