So I have been noticing that a few people have a back up camera or rear view camera on there Bradleys. Is it just me or are these things just out of hand with the prices. Well I found an economic whole setup for us people who just cant see spending four to eight hundred dollars for it seams like every thing and any thing. TadiBrothers have a great product that I have gotten for my GT 1 found for under 100 bucks! You can get a true rear vision camera or a back up camera with the lines on it. They have alot of options to chose from Ether way it works great!! youtu.be/5m7JAK3vmi4www.tadibrothers.com/Catalog/BackupCameraKits/25-Monitor-with-120-Backup-Camera-Economy-KitI just mounted it flush to my dash and it looks clean! the small moniter is a perfect fit. I think it took about an hour to get the whole thing in and ready to go.

Nice setup. I get the caneras on eBay in China for $1.69 Free shipping, then find on old DVD screen to plug it in. My truck has the lic plate camera to the radio & then there's on on top of the camper shell to a montion in the rear veiw mirror.

I have been wondering what can be done about the blind spots. I adjusted my fender mirrors to catch the blind spots and lose sight of vehicles farther behind. Not having any of these neat techno toys like back up cameras, just how much can be seen? If the camera is attached to the rear license plate it doesn't seem like it can pick up any blindspot areas.

The camera that I got has a little bracket that mounts anywhere that you want. It is about the size of an ice cube. I placed it right above the license plate on the rear engine hatch. I got the 170 deg of sight and can almost see the tail lights on the Bradley. I looked at the license plate type and didn't like how they looked on the back of the car. To much bracket and they were quite a bit more in price for the same thing as the ice cube camera.

I built a little pod that sits on the roof just above the rear window. It has the rear camera, alarm, GPS and XM antennae in it. The camera has 170 degrees of view. The rear view mirror offers a plexy distorted mailslot from 6ft away perspective. Its okay for determining IF something is tailgating you, but not so good for determining WHAT is riding your rear. The camera makes it possible to see WHO wants to get close to you. With the right system you can record the video feed as well.

I'm not sure about a listing on Ebay I looked it up on line and did quite a bit of recherche before I got it. I actually put it on my 32 foot trailer over the summer so I could see my boat behind the camper and it worked great! I have a wireless hookup that they offered that uses batteries to power the camera.

Found a site for the ice cube camera www.tadibrothers.com/Products/CategoryProducts/BackupCameraKits . I checked out their other items and only have one thing to say, SEVERELY OVERPRICED. I purchased the same items in this kit www.tadibrothers.com/Catalog/BackupCameraKits/5-Mirror-monitor-with-120-Bumper-Backup-Camera that they sell for $279 {on sale for $174}. I paid 45 for the monitor and 12 for the camera with free shipping from Hong Kong on ebay. A word of advice when choosing a camera system. Avoid the wireless ones as they accept unwanted interference from other cameras. I had one and every time I went past Walmart it would turn on and display the toy dept. Another time it displayed the washroom in the methadone clinic. Not something you want to see while driving.

Ya good advice to all.. Check out what you are buying first. I only paid 135.00 total for the monitor, ice cube camera, 15 feet of cable with the power ran next to it and one wireless pod. I used the promo code winter and got free shipping. Didn't think that was to bad of a deal considering that Best buy for the exact same setup was going to be 467.35 and car toys was going to be 776.99. So I'm not to up on things but I didn't think that that was as "SEVERELY OVERPRICED" and it looked like they were charging 194.99 so from 174.00 that's that's 20.99 difference not to far off. I was not sure how to direct buy from China and if you do you should be running this place and get the old US on our feet, enough sitting around working on these Bradleys! I'm just an average guy from Colorado freezing my butt off what do I know though. I also got the wireless so I wouldn't have to run 75 feet of wire down a camper trailer. Went buy Walmart a couple of times and to my dismay did not see the dressing room or some guy picking his nose at the sporting good section. All in fun though, every thing worked great and I am happy with it and just wanted to spread the thought to everyone who was thinking about getting one and didn't know where to look.

There is a Chine company out there called Deal Extreme. A buddy of mine buys stuff from them all the time and has not had a bad purchase or product. He said they are also good for quick refunds if he doesn't like it. They also have warehouses in North America. They have a backup camera "kit" for about $50. dx.com/p/5-0-lcd-car-rear-view-stand-security-monitor-camera-w-5-ir-led-kit-480-x-272-pixels-153662?rt=1&p=2&m=3&r=2&k=1&t=1&s=112120&u=153662You can also buy a display and camera separate. They have cameras loaded with IR lights for night time use and displays of every size. You could easily get away with something well under $100 for a really nice system. They have LOADS of stuff on their site. You may have to re-word your searches several times to get what you want, as the search option is not very English friendly... Never personally bought anything from them so YMMV... Jim
