It was just cut off. And if it wasn't done correctly it will cause you problems.

Not if the person who did it repaired it correctly. To remove the back section of the roof would only require some minimal body work.
Here is a question....is it original gelcoat all over the body? or painted? I bet painted.
Take some pictures.

Yes it's painted so do I have to brace the windshield and I see the windshield should be able to unbolt from the body bc the person that had it put bondo over the bolts I think I'll post pics soon

The bondo will likely crack in a short amount of time. You do need to brace the windshield.

alright thats good to know bc i was goin to remove the bondo to make sure the windshield is held in correctly and i was goin to fab some brackets up to brace it.. im goin to end up making a custom roll bar for it and making a bikini top for it

The windshield frame needs to be bolted in at least 4 places to a steel substructure that is tied into the chassis. Same way as done in a buggy. Not the best photo but you can see the dash frame is secured to the body, the steering column and the chassis . The windshield frame bolts to the dash frame. If you want more support you can add a roll bar and tie them together like I did here. Note that the roll bar/cage is purely cosmetic and will provide very little rollover protection.

Has anyone ever put a roll bar in a GT2? Seems it would stiffen up the chassis quite a bit?

If I am not mistaken there is one built into the roof structure., The GT2 is already very stiff in the thingypit area, It is the front end and rear end that need steel supports to the chassis..
