im a new owner to a bradley gt and it doesnt have a title the problem is my little brother traded his quad for it and he owed me money so he gave it to me as payment and the guy he got it off of got it from his buddy who owned it so there was never a title im not sure if i should try to do a lost title search then do a salvage title and title it as a modified kit car or if i should find another donor car with a clean title and transfer the body over to it either way i have to restore the car. if anyone has any ideas on what i should do please feel free to let me know

Contact your local DMV loss/theft division and explain the situation to him/her. They should be able to point you in the most economical direction. Pa will issue a title/body/serial number plate that will have to be affixed to your car someplace. One of my Bradleys had one.

You may also want to find the VW chassis # and then apply for lost title for a modified VW. It will save headache when it comes time for insurance being titled as VW vs "assembled"

Most states don't allow for the new owner to apply for a lost title. You need to be the last owner of record to apply for a new title. I don't know all the laws in PA but if my memory is correct they are not favorable.
You can go the VT route. I have done so twice in Mass and have been successful both times.

Hello, Certain inspection stations are authorised to "inspect" the car for reconstruction titles. Where in PA are you? I have allready been looking into this, and might be able to help. Ed Frederick Orwigsburg, PA (Schuylkill County)

It used to be that they would simply ask for a tracing of the chassis # and then you fill out a form and describe the vehicle. They're more lenient and accommodating than NY.
