Geez someone better jump on this one! Im going nuts. It is Beyond rare. and the last one built! Sorry if you are a member here but I am going to call you out. Your add states this " Unless someone can send me confirmation on another one I will say she is beyond rare." Well I sent you 100s of listings on craigslist, there are 1000s of images on google, and well this very forum. Im pretty sure I just sent you confirmation on SEVERAL other ones, but your response to me was you were not going to waste any more time on me, because there was not one on craigslist 2000 miles from you. cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190745493244

I think it's oog ah lee! As well as unsafe and underwhelming when you examine the detail. The seller is overstating what looks like a crummy job underneath. I don't think it'll sell

Would be interested in the reserve for sure. Clearly the description is "embelished" just a tad. I have built a few cars and there are some things that I see that suggest it was not done with great detail, such as: cheesy rear view mirrors mismatched wheels nicely painted silver crank pully (sarcasm) And at least several other little things that suggest this is a $4000 MAX car (depending on the motor).
And for those novice buyers let me give you one point of advice. 40 miles on a kit is not always good. When you are scratch building these cars there are ALWAYS little issues that need to be shaken out. A kit with several thousand miles has a nicely broken in motor, wiring gremlims chased down, the brakes bedded in, etc etc.

Yeah 40 miles and for sale tells me the owner either doesn't like it or is scared to death to drive it.

It would flood out when it rained ( not in Calif) with the cover on & have a lake in the middle of the seats.

His dream that he wanted to be someone elses nightmare. Who knows how well it was built? For that price one would expect new disk brakes, proper hot/cold engine sealing, heat shrunk terminals, hose clamped fuel lines, level gauges........ and a true 1800. The 1800 is a type 4 not a type one engine.

Hey Skip, I own one of those mobile bird baths. Carry a bailing can and a towel whenever I take it out. Poly seats hold a lot of water. Yes it is a pain.

"When did they have the two piece top? "
When the owner bought a fancy new saw with a standard kit.
I would have some serious concerns with relying on those two little aluminum braces to hold that windshield up. Its heavy, it takes alot of wind force and the front mounting lip is not engineered for holding that much force. I could see it just folding right back on you at 65 mph.

Did anyone notice the Jaguar emblem on the front? and it also appears that he cut up the Bradley license plate frame to make an emblem for the rear and has a $5 plastic frame for the plate. I agree on the lack of bracing, and WHAT THE FUDPUCKER was he thinking with those toggle switches being different like that. I can see the good in the covered one, but that red color... thats a $7 item at autozone, and the color fades within a year, have one on my lawn tractor.
If anyone buys it, I wish them luck... They are gonna need it.
