My sons first car is a 97 Corolla like this but in a dark green with 15 years of battle scars. It was a gift from his grandmother when she was forced to give up driving at age 92. Yes I forced her. Although it was not his first choice, it was free and it grew on him. He has been tinkering with ideas and playing out in my garage. He used steel to do the body mods and glass to blend them in. Last week I painted it for him. Now I just have to sway him towards an air cooled VW. I am glad he can see the big picture when executing a project. What do you think of it?

Hi Dan, Pretty cool! How old is this kid? Must be a chip off the old block! Lots of creativity! Gary Hammond,

The Halo lights are a nice touch, as are the bmw style fender louvers, nice flow to it. I have to ask, is there a ducting setup under the hood to direct air flow and dump dibris to the side?

No ducting, all debris that does not get caught by the engine dumps out the bottom.
