Hey Guys! I was on the board many years ago ,building this exact BGT1 . I sold when I realized my son who was taking drivers ed was real interested in it but Momma was not! Anyhoo -fast forward - I bought it back and plan on finishing out the car. Its been treated poorly and is missing a few parts. No problemo except.....I'm headed to surgery tomorrow for back fusion due to many years of leaning over cars ....so I'll order a few parts and chat with you folks while I heal. This car is fully documented, sales receipt, all paperwork from BRADLEY and more...I'll share as much as I can given the amount of meds I'll be on.. I'll toss out a few pics and let the fun begin once again... Howdy ya bunch of BGT nutz. BB Attachments:

Hi BB, Welcome back! Did you get all the missing parts back? Like mirrors, front bumpers, and front turn lights? To post pictures in the text (not as an attachment) they must first be posted on another web site and be linked to. This is done by clicking on the picture icon at the top of the post like this, [/img] and then inserting the URL from that web site in between the Brackets. They should be reduced in size to about 640 x 556 pixels before you link to them this way. Gary Hammond,

I have the bumpers but no mirrors or turn signals ....
I do have the assembly manual , interior swatch card , some Bradley propaganda with gals in bikinis and big "That Girl" hair!
Once I recover from surgery I'll try to scan all the stuff to share with the site.
Are the owners of the defunct Bradley name still alive ?

Does the engine run? I don't think turn signals would be that hard to get a hold of. (At least I don't THINK so, our Bradley has little round trailer blinkers on it, look like you could buy them from any auto parts store.) As for mirrors... :/ I'm not so sure what kind of mirrors these were they used. If push comes to shove you could probably find an old pre 1980's japanese car in the junk yards and pull the mirrors off of one of those and adapt them for use. I think there were also some front mounted mirrors for the bug as well.

Talbot style mirrors can be found in countless places.

Welcome back, brotherbob! Your project is looking good.
And best of luck on your back surgery. FWIW, my mother had the same done fifty years ago and it improved her life and health 100%.

The BGT is in the barn and I am not. The back fusion was successful but is a long healing process .....I have not been allowed off my porch yet by my Wife the Warden of the compound ! In her defense most of my injuries have been related to working on VWs, old cars and trucks.....
Hey I need seat covers for the factory GT seats where is the best place to buy them ? Nothing fancy just black vynil would be fine..
3 day post surgery and I can walk , eat , sit and stand.....none too fast but my legs are not on fire like before.

Fixed it for you, First time is free. You got the storage off site correct but you missed putting the url between the sets of brackets of [/img] When posting, click the post button with nothing in the edit box. It brings you to the full post area where all of the editing buttons can be found. Same as when you quote something. Now please go and reduce the size of your first 5 posted pics and post them in one thread.
