Hey Bob. Yes, I remember you. Very nice work on the batmobile, I remember we shared some thoughts on making the gulls more rigid with a metal frame.
Youve done a lot of work there, including fiberglass, rear window area, rear lights, relocated gas filler. Again, nice to hear from you and look forward to the build on your upcoming site.

If I remember right I think the turn signals came from a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Ebay has one #200831423534 . I did have to modify the fiberglass a bit.

It really does get a lot of attention. I drove it to town yesterday to get the carburetor re built and I had it parked outside my office for an hour and I had 2 different people stop and take pictures of it. I have had people follow me into the gas station and ask about it and take pictures with their cell phones. One guy said " I hope you didn't ruin a perfectly good corvette. He was thankful when when I told him him it was a Bradley GT that I had altered. The only problem so far is I am 6'-3"and too big to fit in it and may have to raise it up 2 inches. I have to crouch down to see through the windshield.

I just got my web site up and running batdude.com I am still adding content. I have over 500 photos I am trying to organize into different areas. I have how I built the car in detail and some of the recent photos. I got a lot of the tips on how to do certain things on this Bradley forum. So Thanks! Bob Nilson - Benson, Arizona.

I really like the lift kit that you fabricated and illustrated. Because I am 6' 2" tall, I am considering lifting mine up at least one inch. I remember seeing it done by one of the other members. I think it was Big Bob.
What modifications did you make to the steering column?
Good job and good luck installing it. Thanks for sharing.

Here is Big Bob's website, which includes his restoration topics: mysite.verizon.net/bobthagard1/car/I'm not sure that I will ever finish my Bradley. But, that is the fun part about owning one; we can continuously improve and customize them.

Hi Texasiceman: Half of the fun is working on these cars and modifying them the way we want them. I did cut slots in the firewall where the 4 bolts are attached to the steering tube. So when I jack the body up from the chassis, the steering column should center it self in the slots. I will put large washers and re bolt the column when I get it centered to the right height. I will be sure to take a photo where the steering column comes through when I do and will post it on my site.
