Is there anything that holds the rear of the body up besides the metal brace by the gas tank? I'm getting cracks in fiberglass above rear wheel wells. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mercer77, I had the same problem on mine, so I installed a simple brace on each side from the shock towers to the inner wheel well supports. This really stiffened things up and stopped all the flexing. Here's a pic of the one on the driver's side. Gary Hammond,

Awesome! Thanks Gary. Do you remember what size (gauge) metal you used?

Hi Mercer77, Don't remember for sure. I think it was 3/16" x 1.5". I'll check it for sure tomorrow in the daylight. Gary Hammond,

Hi Mercer77, It measures 3/16" x 1.5". Don't trust my memory much any more, but this time it was right! Gary Hammond,
