hey guys I'm not sure if I'm at the right sight for this question but here it goes. I have a Bradley gt 2 and it says electric on the side of the car on the hood and has a spot in the back where there was a out let cut out for charging.. according to the gouges that were in the car it was electric but when i got the car it had a Volkswagen motor in it. my question is i was thinking of painting the car but I'm not sure if that is a wise thing to do due to the graphics on the side of the car. would the car be worth more with out painting it due to being original. over all condition of the car is in good condition. I was thinking of painting the car and selling it but I'm not sure what to do . any imput would be great thanks

How bout some pictures! Use a heat gun & remove the graphics wet sand & buff out the gel coat. You can use Goo-Off to clean up after. Sand WET with 600 down to 1000g sandpaper then machine buff. Will come out really nice as long as the gel coat in ok. Also start your own post with pictures so we can keep a EYE on you.

An original Bradley is not worth much more (if anything) than a nicely painted one. Its not like a Corvette or other collector car.
Thats just my opinion.

Very broad question.....depends alot on interior, motor (size and condition), wheels, tires, wiring, etc etc.
I would say $1500-$5000. Only higher if its got a loaded engine and lots of great details.

Value depends on market and location. I've had offers from 15-20,000. Still not enough for me to sell.

I was offered 14,000 for my blue Manx buggy at the beginning of spring. Was ready to sell then I took it for a ride. Mistake, Too much fun to sell right now.

thanks for the offer the dash is all done. what i really need is the locking mechanism on the car side so the door will lock in place and not flop around while driveing down the road

The door latches are from a VW Rabbit. What year I don’t know. The mechanics part number is: 331 827 505 The catch pin part number is: 331 827 511A The same p/n’s are used on both sides.

Justdoit77,
When I looked into getting my Bradley GT II painted I was shocked at the estimate $6K!!!
The graphics can be replaced easily - there's a guy on this board that did mine - looks great! See classifieds.
Interesting how someone took a GTE and turned it into a GT II, I took a GT II and turned it into a GTE. Go figure!!
Thanks,
