First off I want to say, no I am not driving the Bradley W/O brakes in the rain... however with this sudden large amount of rain we have needed all summer now here, itgot me thinking about my windshield wipers. I never used them since the time I bought it and was trying out all the switches until today. Yes they do move up and down, I have to move back in position by hand when I turn off, no big deal.
The thing is my blades appear to be part of the arm (no normal attaching clips), and the tenson in the arm is shot. Before I hire an Igor and play Frankinsine on the system, what do you guys use, where do you get replacements?

Can you post a pic of the arms and the posts they attach to. Most gt and gt2 use the wiper trans from the beetle. Depending on the year, different arms are available. Show me what you have so I can determine what you need.

I will try to get a pic posted later today (its 12:40am here) , I have to find the post that tells how to do it and prnt it off for myself. its the same as my other Bradley, so I figured they were easy to come by. I just need to do my homework before i take the test (road test in the ran that is). The Bradleys life started out as a '68 Beetle I believe Thanks for the quick responce!

You need to put [ url]
before the hyperlink and [ /url] after it to make links active. (note I put in the extra leading space in each bracket so it would print and not try to make a link).
Of if you use the "reply" button instead of the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom, it gives you a bunch of menu icons, one of which is posting a hyperlink (looks like a globe, I think). You just have to put your www address between the symbols it produces. Hope this helps

Your wiper trans appears to be stock early Beetle pre 1970. As for the arms, they look like 53-57 beetle arms where the long thin arm and wiper are sold as a unit. Wiper blades of that mount design are available, the Chevrolet LLV uses them.

If you want to upgrade to more modern. Find the ones you want at the wrecking yard and change the mount/pivot on the new arm.

I am looking at a gt here in Colorado that looks great. My only prob is the windshield.. here in Colorado they have lots of sand on the road and chips and cracks are the norm. It it true that the windshields are a fit to the 60s corvette?

If you are talking about the orignal GT, not the GT2, yes it is a mid-sixties Corvette coupe (not convertable) windshield.
