Don't forget the apparent frame damage that is not listed in the auction but was described in whcgt's posts here.

Here is the difference between you and I my friend. 1. I bought a project and had no grand illusions of it. 2. I tore down, and rebuilt that said project. 3. I drove the project. 4. Now I would like another project, that I will once again complete.
2500 views in 6 days, and over 100 watchers on my car with a day left btw
You on the other hand, purchased a kit car you had not knowledge of with grand illusions of finishing it. You purchase a 914 for chump change out of a junk yard (and had to make payments on it) with more grand illusions. Now you are going to sell your autocross monster, to fund your junk yard 914, that will eventually be put up for sale unfinished, or towed away back to the heap it came out of.
Good luck man

You all do have to admit this is an interesting car if i had the space i would probably get it doesnt matter to me whom had it before just as long as it is workable and would look cool going down the road

Wow! I do not know what is really going on here, but this is not at all what this board is typically like. If this is an example of where this board is heading, I will not likely hang around. It is too bad, because except for this on one short time when a member was going through an extremely difficult personal time, this board has been a shining example of positive encouragement. I hope this passes quickly and we can use some restraint that usually comes with maturity.
Disapointed....

Hey Guys,
I have to apologize. I just could not help but remember last year when he bought this thing and it was the perfect autocross car. Then the junkyard Porsche that was the perfect donor for the auto crossing Invader. Even after the advice from many members here to get that idea out of his head.
but whatever. Good luck with the 914

Nothing personal....But if you advertise your car here then I think you should be honest with the people on this board. Its that simple. You admitted it had frame damage in your post. You then use this free space to point people toward your auction, an auction that does not include a description of the frame damage.
I don't think that right. The people here are very friendly. Getting burned is no fun...a fact that I think Skip can attest to in his recent purchase. If the person that sold that Brad to Skip was a regular poster here and had posted honestly about all the damage in a build thread and then pointed readers to an auction then I would have made the same comment.
