Hello all!
Being new to the VW scene, are there any definitive VW supply, performance, parts catalogs that should be on my table? Any recommendations appreciated!

Pick up a Hot VW's magazine & check the ads. I have dealt with the following suppliers and been happy (no particular order);
CB Performance
California Pacific/JBugs
cip1.com
Mid America Motorworks
So. Cal. Imports
Moore Parts Source
LowBugget.com (A.J. Simms)
JC Whitney
There are others, but those are ones I have dealt with.

and there is also appletreeautomotive, jc whitney. Theres a website that anyone dealing with vw can consider the vw craigslist or vwebay, its www.thesamba.com -you don't bid, you just contact the seller and make arrangements. about anything you want from a stock lugbolt to dual turbochargers, you more than likely can find it or something close to it, for less than cst of new. yeah it may or maynot be used, may or maynot work (broken/wrong year), but you never know till you check it out |
