My GPS has a built in speedometer in which I can set the font to fairly large. I have used it to calibrate/check the speedo's in all my vehicles. My original speedo never has worked. I, like centralvalleygter, use a Tom Tom to get the mph while I'm driving. A GPS speedo is a great idea, but I'd like to see a more competitive price though since you can buy a Tom Tom for under $100.
A quick glance at Amazon.com showed there are lesser price models out there ($100+), but sometimes you need to buy a sender unit to go with the speedo ($100). The one mentioned above is all inclusive.
