Took off the header to either replace or straighten some damage (bend) and while I have the opportunity I was wondering if it's a good idea to switch out the studs in the heads for stainless steel?
My reason would be that the next time the exhaust system comes apart it might be easier

Just use copper neverseize on the studs.

Hi Mike, I left the steel studs, but use stainless steel nuts with neverseize. Works for me. Gary Hammond,
