UH, what the heck is this??? I am going to pick up a vw beetle project from a buddy tomorrow. but he says the car is an automatic 3 speed vw. I have only heard tales of these,and never seen one in all my years. should be interesting......

My wife had the same in her original Bug. It worked surprisingly well, however if it breaks, it can be a difficult repair.

Oddly enough,I traded my HUTCH trickstar (BMX Bicycle) for the bug.
its mostly complete but somewhat disassembled.
then traded it off the next day for a GEO TRACKER. (that runs and drives)
and I get the pan/tranny back...
so I can use it in my other GT body.lol
