What are real GTE's worth. Have one that has been sitting for a looong time. Was owned by the Vanderbilt family I was told. I also bought a new unassembled GT2 with the intention of using the parts to restore the GTE. Now I have em both and absolutely no time to play with them. So torn, I've had them for a while and now I really just want to know if it's going to be worth it to restore it or just better and less of headache to sell them to someone who knows bradleys and has more resources than I. Appreciate any help. Thanks. Frank

I love my converted GT II Electric but ... Electric cars are NOT cost effective. Yes, you'll save money on gas but the Rate of Return is ridiculous. If you decide to go down this route, remember that this car, like any other kit car will be a hobby needing time and resources.
I have seen GTEs on EV trading Post go for $5 - 7K. Most were in need of repair, and in some cases - new batteries.
Good luck,
