never knew they made the GT in electric. I thought they were all GTIIs.
I learn something new everyday...I like that.

As far as I know it is the only GT 1 sold as an electric. After my dad bought it they were never able to complete delivery of the assembly instructions because they were never written. We actual sent the car back to Bradley, they assembled it, and we then picked it up completed. Picture of the sales brochure: Attachments:

Welcome to the board Keith. Where are you located? Nice looking ride there. It could use some bigger meats in the back though!

Wow, what a treasure. Would like to see what components they used? Perhaps the same as the GTE? I suppose all the batteries are in the back seat area? How many volts? The brochure doesn't say much.
There are a few of us EV guys on this site. I converted a GT II to a GTE.
Welcome to the forum,
Matt

It uses 12-6v batteries. 6 in the back and 6 begind the seats. Pictures to follow. I have a feeling it uses different components based only on pictures I'vs seen of the GTEs. My dad drove it for about 5 years until it needed new bateries then put it in storage for about 10 years, Then put new batteries in it and drove it 1 day, charged it, then the next day the electonics fried when he started it. Of course fing replacement parts was pretty much impossible. Finally got it refitted with an electric forklift controller then I drove it for a summer. Now it is experiencing a problem with the 12-volt circuts such that it leaks enough juice so that the main drive relay won't stay on. Currently I don't have the time to put into it, and I don't want to start on it until I have the time seeing as how I need to invest in 12 batteries and 4 tires before I start. Attachments:
