I just purschased a GT2 built off of a 1970 vw. The body badge says it is 41. The gt is turd brown with metallic flake paint. New tires and recently powder coated gt2 wheels. The interior is tan leather, but I do need some new carpet. All glass, including the windshield, is good to go. The topmsection has been glassed in tomthe lower half. I recently had a Delorean that I rebuilt, so I am used to wierd things in cars. I am curious what are some of the common hiccups on these cars? Being a kit every car will be different, but wasn't sure if there was anything pretty common across the board. I will have pictures later on to post.

Use the search feature of this board and put in "butt sag" to learn more. It will give you some threads with some symptoms & solutions. Make sure you put something like 2400 days back in the appropriate place or you are likely to get no results since I think the default is like 7 days.

Congrats on getting a Bradley GT II. Mine is red but I can see underneath where the original color was "disco brown."
In addition to what was listed above, you'll want to see how folks have ditched the headlight motor for an actuator.
Happy building,
Matt

Thanks for the info. I am thinking of going with a matte green finish for the new color.
