This is how the story goes, i had a 1949 Chevy Coupe 235 hurst 3 speed on the floor. It was nice but very old. No one ever wanted to work on it. Putting a v8 tranny rear etc.. was going to be 8,000 dollars. So one day i was driving i saw this 1967 bug at a car lot man it was nice. So it was in my mind to try and get him to bite on my 1949, Soon as i said i had one he wanted it, So he came up and looked at it, i had couple older Volkswagens 1973 baja and 1302 conv. So my neighbor came over and he said ah he use to have a bradley gt, he said i have a gtII at my shop in the back. So that night before we made the deal i kept thinking about what it would look like and etc. Never thought about Google it or anything lol. So the day came before my dad checked out the 67 i jumped him about the bradley gt II. Soon as i seen it, i wanted it. It was that car would make everyone do a double take, didnt matter if they was mopar,chevy,ford. They would still come up and look at it to ask "what is it" Its on 1969 chassis, with 1600cc motor which doesn't leak? so ive been wondering what is done to it and if its been rebuilt someone put that dress up chrome kit on it. the guy who had before got it in wv at a state sell, i guess the guy died or something. So its unknown what has been done to it. me and my dad have been customizing louvers for the back windows, which will bring the car to more of a sporty type I've recently picked up some chevy wheels which cool story behind it those wheels was in hot rod mag in 1988 on a chevelle guy had. Thats where i'm at this point, the weather is stopping me. Get me your opinions im thinking of a spoiler camaro or a firebird type 80s and 90s ones.

Some spoiler look real good. I gave my a race car look with a taller spoiler and I like it. I've seen some that are closer to the body and they look good also.

They are off of a 1969-1970 mustang fastback, its the closes ones you gotta make your own bracket and somehow stop vibrating, haha. Just winter slowing us down.

If the previous owner did not do it - check the inside of your rear air scoop. It is actually a well engineered, functioning scoop when cut on the inside according to the manual. It also channels rain around the outside of the inner channel and dumps it out of the back-bottom.
I would get rid of the spoiler. It's just going to kill the airflow back there and add turbulence - and possibly crack the fiberglass. Been there.

MJ did you put anything on the other side of the body for support when you did the spoiler. I did and so far no problems.

check out the spoiler on the 1990 dodge daytona. It has simmular bodylines and curvature of the GT-II and it is a 3 piece spoiler so depending on how you mount it, it maynot affect the "hood" from opening.

ah it isn't finished, the inside havent even been started yet lol, i need to find carpet. dont even get me started on the cd player, its in but the wires to plug it in isn't so i gotta put all the wires through the car -.-

MJ did you put anything on the other side of the body for support when you did the spoiler. I did and so far no problems. Apparently not enough. I used large fender washers. The cracking was right by the bolt holes. I screwed up.

Man, it really quieted down! .

I just saw an old Chrysler Conquest driving around, I haven't seen one of those for years... Anyway, at first look I thought it was a GT-II, you may be able to use some parts form one of those, such as the spoiler if you are still looking for one.

i've been thinking since it will be hot in the summer time, has anyone done away with the small window and put a big one in which could be attached for more air. It that if i was on the turnpike i could easy pop open one of the tops and throw money in etc. or easypass.

Nice looking Bradley GT2 very clean . The guy I got my GT2 from had passed away also and his son didn't want anything to do with it. They just wanted it gone. The guy did do a lot of work on it.
I love the color . Welcome to the club . Best club in the world! i spend a lot of time looking up subjects and applying them to my build.. Lot of knowledgeable guys and experts too.

OK, chiming in. Long time no workie on the Bradley GTII. Sorry to report, I have no idea what I got the spoiler off of. It was in a junk yard!
It does hang over the sides about an inch on both sides.

well thats what i've been doing. Alot lately i know a jsp spoiler will work wonders on my bradley, but again pa won't give me a title for it. Its stated as 2002 with vins off a 1968 volkswagen chasis. Sucks huh? im pretty sure pa is the worst state to transfer a title.

recently i got rid of 1973 baja bug, but i have 72 super beetle conv. it the works now. so the bradley sit there looks pretty i did do a little test drive up and down my road today. not to far since my luck a state boy would be down the road.

Full size windows are easy, getting them to open any amount is a different story. With the door tapering smaller as it goes down there is no room for the glass.

My rear spoiler did not work out. My fault. BUT I repeat - that scoop is an engineering bit of brilliance. It works if you isolate the engine from the cylinders and drill it out inside as the Blue Book instructs. Of course, you must isolate the top of the engine from the cylinders as shown here.

Hey mj, is that piece of shinning supposed to be isolating the top of the engine from your cylinders? Why do you claim that you need to do this in order for the engine cover scoop to work?

Thanks Not so much to work but to do it's job properly. The separator plate keeps the cold air on the top hot on the bottom. Cold air keeps the engine cooler and provides more power than hot air. If the cooling tins/rubber seals are left out on any aircooled VW it would overheat very quickly. The same separation was used in my GT2 with Corvair.
