I've kinda been wondering the same thing. He was all over the board, then nothing. Let's hope that he hasn't been in an accident - or worse.
I had his phone, but can't find it. If anyone else knows how to contact him, maybe you'll give it a try. Email should be easy enough to dig up.

I had his email on my work puter but since the company changed hands and computer systems I lost that one.

I've seen him on the samba forums before. The last I heard his son lost interest in the project and that was the main reason he was doing it.

Yeah, from what I can tell it has been nearly a year since he posted and I too was fasinated by his project. Hope someone can chase down the status and story.

According to his profile page the last time he logged in to this site was Oct 25, 2010, 7:50pm.  I think dawgdk is correct that after his son lost interest in the project Rob did as well. And I think his work hours also were cut back when the economy first went south. Don't know what his work status is presently.  He does post on face book a lot though.  My wife has gotten a few messages from him on her face book account. I don't use face book myself, but my wife likes it. His e-mail is listed on his profile page if you can't find him on face book. I use the profile pages a lot to figure out who's who on the board.
