825 miles one way, 16hrs according to google, how close are you guys to Niagara falls Ontario?

Memorial day weekend bug out Manassas Virginia is always a huge turn out they also have one on labor day weekend.
I can see it now, a line of Bradleys touring the nations capitol.

My destination for now is itEffington / Effingham whichever it is.
Once I know what my '76 with the old 1500 is capable of, then I'll concider the drive to Niagra Falls. When I get the '74 with the 1600 finished, (looking at sometime within the next year) I will be able to attend a few different events as long as I can get days off, lol.

I did a Google trip search for the mileage for any of the possible locatons. From NKO to Effingham, Ill it is 355 miles 6 hours to drive ,,,,,,,,,",,,,,to Carlisle, PA it is 329 miles 6 hours. ,,,,,,,,,",,,,,to Manassas, VA it is 385 miles 6 hours and 49 minutes. ,,,,,,,,,",,,,,to Niagara Falls it is 335 miles 6 hours. So where are we going and what is the date?  Wyn  |

looks like about 960 miles or so each way for me. So far I have been scared to drive 12 miles..haha. But maybe if anyone else in Florida wants to caravan their I might do it

Looks like it will be Niagara for me this year. Hopefully some of you can make it. I go down on the Friday come back on Monday. We enjoy camping and hsave always stayed at Campark www.campark.com the place is full of VWs of all kinds. It is usually the 3rd weekend in June. Their site is not updated yet but when I find out more I will post here. |

If I did not have my vacation planned to go bake home <Hawaii> this summer I would be all about the fun fest . A 2014 show if we can nail it down I am sure game for , Cheers ,Steve

It's about 1k for me maybe a little more . It sure would be fun to meet a bunch of GT guy's. I had to look up the road for dragon's tail on google, looks great , but Effingham would be more of a central location.

Yes, that's factory. It was to hide the exhaust system like this . most were trimmed up closer to the body line, but hey its a kit car, we make them how we want them because we want to and we can...  |
