has anyone ever seen a coyote X inspired Bradley? I've seen a red Bradley before, and it looked great. I recently got into the prop car business. I know how to "do it right" but I have learned most people only have a faint idea what they are looking at. most movie/tv cars barely keep continuity,on the show. I have an extra body I have been looking to do something with. I believe if I fill the headlight holes, moving them to the fenders. cut the center scoop/reform it. build doors to fill the bradley dip. and roll the quarters down cut off the spoiler and rework the engine lid hole to use the sunbird style taillights it would have design elements of the first season manta, and the second season WTF contraption they built. supposedly it involved some delorean donor parts. I believe jay ohrberg built another copy using a fiero at some point. I do know he took one of the screen used cars (coyote)and cut the nose off it grafted the knight 4000 nose on it and called it the tazmobile.sans roof. it's just one idea I'm kicking around.

Never seen one to be honest. I do think it would be a ton of work and probably easier just to find a montage

Delorean based coyote...used for season 2, due to the difficulty of getting into and out of the original car.

Modified by Dean Jeffries for the Hardcastle show. This was a short lived series that ran from 1983-1986. The original car was a modified Manta Montage Kit Car on VW chassis The production Manta Montage used a VW chassis with the side pans cut out out and the Montage body fit over the remaining backbone. The Montage was modified for the show by removing the bubbleback rear window and replacing it with a flying buttress, like the 68-77 Corvettes. The car may have used a Porsche or Corvair engine and transaxle, but I can't confirm this. There was also a second Coyote version used later in the series. It was built on a Delorean backbone mated to a pantera zf tranny with built V6. The change was due to Brian Keith's inability to get in and out of the first car with ease. This car was seen in poor shape last year at MGM Studios, Florida. See my Kyote site for more pics. users.eastlink.ca/~danmacmillan/hardcastle/hardcastle.htm

Never seen one to be honest. I do think it would be a ton of work and probably easier just to find a montage well, yes I could do a screen accurate copy. find the montage kit. (theres one on the samba) pay several thousand for it. (he wants 3-6K for it) then transport it across the country. (its in cali.) then do the mods. (its already got the back glass delete) or I could half a$$ the spare bradley body I cant seem to git rid of.lol . right now I'm thinking If I found one for 1-2K or a complete basketcase/wreck within my trailering distance(200 mi) I could pull it off. I'm really just looking for a prop car to drive to work (70mi. roundtrip) that will get some gas mileage. to be honest, when my TV show gets picked up (bobspropshop,summer,2012) I will build a screen accurate one ANYONE KNOW OF A MANTA KIT IN N.TX/S.OK? THANKS!!!
