If you could start a vehicle related business and you had 27k sq ft at your disposal what would you start? I have a few ideas for a property that the partners in my racetrack own, but I was curious to here what you would do. It is about 1/2 mile from the Race complex

How deep are your pockets? Everything depends on capital. Probably the easiest and cheapest to get into would be an auto auction house. Long term storage might be a possibility, rechroming business, electric car conversion shop, custom paint shop, hydraulic shop, drag shop, restoration shop or chop shop. All depends on what you are willing to spend, beg, borrow or in the last case, steal.

Hey Guys. We already have a 7/10 mile outdoor gocart track at our racing complex. 45-50mph carts, timing etc. We are throwing a few ideas around right now. The way the economy is it is not so easy to lease a building like this. All of the small ones are rented but the large ones are not
Oh and my pockets are shallow..haha. The people who own it all are a different story..lol

How about an indoor auto parts swap shop? Divide it into 10 x 10 spaces simply by painting lines on the floor and rent out the spaces...If the renter wants security let him build a cage.. bobevans

Funny you mentioned this Bob. We were discussing today about turning it into an auto shop of sorts were we could have 20-30 bays set up with a lift in each and rent it out that way

You could have lifts in only a few and charge a higher price for those...as some won't need lifts and it would save on the cost to you.... bobevans
