Sooo.... looking to do it. I searched here but either I'm spelling it wrong or not using the correct terminology and could not find anything. I googled it and went to some forums that threw up some ideas but WOW talk about a heated topic.... POR15 was brought up - with the comments from the lovers and haters - so I'd check with you all. My undercarriage has surface rust with a few pencil holes in it (previous owners) from tapping bolts or whatnot. Ideas?

I use spray on gravel guard/rocker guard. Easy to apply, lasts a long time, covers well, resists impact from road debris, doesn't need a spotless surface, inexpensive [about $8 per can, 2 cans should be more than enough], paintable, comes in black. Goes on with a schutz gun, average $24.00 Available at all auto body supply stores. Avoid the spray can type. It is more expensive and not as good. As for the holes, install short bolts in them.

Mine was a body off restoration so I went with por15 . It still looks as good as the day I put it on 4 years ago . I do think undercoating on top of it would be a great idea for noise insulation .

Shane, are you going to bring this to the Classic in Fredericksberg this year? That is at the end of April.
