If you are running original equipment wheels and brakes, then you should be able to get lug nuts from just about any parts dealer around. Should be standard VW lug nuts unless you are running non VW wheels, then that may change, depending on if they are MAG or CUSTOM wheels (different mounting angles) ( the end of the nut that seats against the wheel, or not, Your lugs may be longer and go through the wheel and seat differently, like a newer VW.) Take one of yours with you to said parts distributors and have them match it up to what they have. Of course you may also have wheel adapters on yours and who knows what you would need then, again, take one of your existing nuts with you and have the parts place match it up. Hope this makes sense, cuz there are a few different angles on lug nuts where they seat against the wheel, and they are not inter-changeable. Wow, I think I even confused myself with that explanation.

If I had pictures of what I was saying it would be even easier to explain, but I don't so take what you have with you and match them up.

What are Bradley wheels? There are so many types of lug nuts/bolts/studs that without a picture it is impossible to know what you need.

I have been able to remove keyed lugs by hammering a (sacrificial) socket over them, then using an ordinary rachet wrench to take them off. Learned that in the 'hood.

If I remember the "technical" mumbo jumbo - there are two parts to a "wheel" - the rim and casing (or tire). Recalling my old conversations with my lowrider buddies.

You are right. Wheels are made up of a rim and a tire. So going back to the original post "My wheels appear to be standard vw wheels with some nice rims on them." We still do not have the info to help him. If they are VW/Porsche made rims then a ball seat is required on the lug nut/bolt. Stock American made uses a straight tapered seat. Mag uses a shouldered nut/bolt with a washer. Washer may be round or oval and stud diameters vary. Also it can be set up with bolt type fasteners/ nuts and studs or a combination of both. When using the mag type of fastener, length of the shouldered part is very important.

Our local Auto Zone, (AZ as we call them), has multiple drawers of lug nuts. All different thread sizes, nut patterns, short and long. Take one of your lug nuts down to your local AZ and let them find the replacements. If they dont have the exact ones get a full set that look close to what you have and install on one wheel, and take the old ones from that wheel and place one on each of the other three wheels. No one will will know the difference.

@ Dan. Exactly what I was trying to say in my post but didn't know what the different types of lug nuts were called.
