So i've been creeping on this forum for a little over a week as I was contemplating buying a Gt locally for sale. Said contemplation is now sitting on my trailer as i brought it home last night. Naturally, some assembly required. Familiar with the Vw platform and know my way around a dual port, but the body and its components are all new and enjoyable to learn. There seems to be a lot of good folks on this forum. Very helpful, very willing to share. Cant wait to dig in just as soon as all of this "liquid sunshine" stops coming down in buckets! Photos to come once i figure out how to upload them. The Gt is original silver gel coat, 1776 or 1835 power plant yet to be determined. Needs lots of love, affection, and a good full body rub with carnuba.

kitcarguy: dx1 There is no way to tell what year the body is. The Dataplate (if there is one) will not give you any useful info.
